McNeilus
Front Loaders

Amongst the major manufacturers, McNeilus is unique in that they have never built anything except a curved shell body on their front loaders. The first models appeared in 1993, under the name Pacstar-FL, but later became known simply as the FL93. Half-pack gravity-dump or full-pack telescopic models were produced initially in a 40-yard body, with more sizes to follow. The bustle tailgate had a rugged 8-point hydraulic latch, and lift arms were rated at 10,000 pounds capacity. A heavy-duty Atlantic Series soon joined the lineup, in 36, 40 or 43 yard sizes, as well as a lighter Pacific Series tailored to the weight-conscious regions. The current Pacific Ultra Series weighs as little as 16,000 pounds.
