New Century for New Way

The powerful New Way King Cobra high-compaction rear loader

Under the ownership of the McLaughlin family, New Way has been transformed into an entirely new company, with one of the most diverse lines of refuse packers in the industry. The rear loader has been split into three distinct series, with larger Cobra receiving a completely revised packer mechanism and spacious 3-plus yard hopper. The Viper is the mid-range workhorse, and the direct descendant of the original, with external packer cylinders. Diamondback strikes at the small-scale scatter and alley routes, and all three series now incorporate curved-shell bodies.

The Mamba side loader carries on the tradition of the original model that started it all. These satellite loaders now use a shallow-blade packer with full follower plate for packing and discharge (either to a mother truck or at the dump site). Sized from 6-10 yards, they can be fitted with manual cart tippers or hand-loaded.

Rounding out the lineup are the newest members of the family, the Sidewinder line of Automated Side Loaders, and well as the Mammoth front loader. The most interesting addition was the Roto-Pac which was unveiled in 2017. This curved-shell side loader uses an auger-compactor which is ideally suited for organics or yard waste, with unparalleled shredding ability. The Roto-Pac is built by partner Ginove (Saint-Casimir, Quebec) which also distributes New Way rear loaders in Canada. The Roto-Pac is the first auger-compactor to be offered in the the USA since the early 1980s.
