During the 1970s wave of small, satellite collection vehicles, Knight offered the Red Ram, a unique vehicle with 360-degree visibility. The 4.5 cubic yard hopper packed an average of 2,100 pounds. Power was through Chrysler 318 cubic inch V-8 engine, with a top speed of 55 MPH.
