OMB
Brescia, Italy

OMB was founded in 1961, and by the 1990s was primarily known for commercial side loading refuse bodies. A period of expansion brought Carrozzeria Moderna into the company fold, which manufactured satellite refuse bodies and rear loaders. OMB acquired controlling interest in Translift, a manufacturer of detachable bodies based in the Netherlands, becoming OMB International. Financial troubles in the 2000s resulting in Translift reverting to Dutch control, and insolvency for OMB. An attempt to save the company was was made by Brescia Mobilita SPA, which acquired OMB in 2009, but crushing debt forced the new LLC into liquidation.

The OMB brand is now a division of Busi Group, and maintains production of side loaders, rear loaders and satellite bodies at Brescia.
