1981 Universal Handling front loader

Looking sharp in the orange and brown of "Big Bear Services", this front loader was built by Canadian manufacturer Universal Handling Equipment Company Ltd., of Hamilton, Ontario, and had a body capacity of 33.5 cubic yards. Universal was an early manufacturer of front load containers, and today is the largest supplier of these boxes in the midwest. The company began offering front loaders in the late 1970's, and currently produces a full line of refuse handling equipment including rear loaders. The White Road Xpeditor 2 has been an extremely popular truck for refuse collection duty in North America.
