 Leach 2R Packmaster
Until the 2R came along, many refuse trucks would have a hard time crushing large appliances. Any doubts about the 2R's prowess were quickly dispelled by demonstrations like the one shown here. Cyril Gollnick invented the 2R and reportedly was the first to perform this feat with his brainchild, crushing a VW Kharmann Ghia. This photo of a 2R eating a Beetle was likely taken during the 1960's or 1970's.
