Hippo Manufacturing Denver, Colorado     This Denver independent came up with a product for the many haulers who had invested for years in bottom-dumping containers (primarily Dempster and Load-Lugger) yet wanted to modernize with multi-stop front-load collection. Serving such a "niche" market, it's doubtful that Hippo lasted for long, though very little is known about them other than the 1963 advertisement shown below.
