Hillend Engineering Dunfermline, Scotland Hillend Engineering Powerlink heavy-duty rear loader     Hillend Environmental is the ancestor of the original Heil Europe division founded in 1973, to build the USA Heil refuse products in the United Kingdom. In 2013, Heil Europe was sold to Farid and became wholly-european owned, while trading under the Heil-Farid name for several years. Beginning in 2017, the company formally adopted the Hillend name, as a subsidiary of the Zoeller Group.     Hillend's Powerlink rear loader and front loader are the most recognizable products from the Heil era. The Citytrak/Powertrak, Big Bite Junior and mini rear loaders are designs of European origin.
